Paint On the Nail Bed

I bashed my toe and the nail is coming off. Last week I worked with paint (I'm a dancer) and I got some on the nail bed of the injured toe. It's on the skin and the nail isn't completely off so I can't scrub it off. Will the paint come off as the new nail grows? Paint On the Nail Bed
Yes, the paint will loosen over time and be shed eventually. Test the paint for looseness each week, and when possible, peel it off your skin. This may be easiest after bathing.
