My daughter's nail have dark nail beds and have dark lines,what disease might she have?or missing vitamins?

usually when someone has dark nailbeds it means that their is usually a fungal infection lurking beneath the nail. That happened to me too, but on my toe nails, and to my little niece(two of her finger nails). My sister put cortizone on her daughter's nails, that helped, plus the doctor prescribed medicine that made it go away. Me on the other hand, have to suffer with it because medicine for my toe fungal infection is considered cosmetic and is very expensive. Quick solution: never wear flip flops in public!!
