Nail beds turn purple (slightly blue) from shower?

This started this week, what could be causing it?Nail beds turn purple (slightly blue) from shower?
I thought when that happened it meant that you werent getting enough oxygen... Usually when that happens your lips or parts of your face will turn blue-ish.. But other than that i don't really know..Nail beds turn purple (slightly blue) from shower?
Usually when you nail beds go blue you have bad capillary refill (blood being circulated from viens to lungs). I am an EMT and we use this in order to get a read on a persons oxygenation of the blood or circulation. I assume you are a white female (by your question). Usually in people with color it is hard to tell because of skin pigment. The other thing is i have scene over the years is females have a much lower blood pressure then men (thats cause men have to deal with women) thats a joke. My thinking is when you are in a shower that you are to cold your body naturally constricts its veinuls (veins) to increase blood flow to the heart there for removing blood from the extremities (hands, feet) . Its a simple reaction and i think you might have an over-reacting feeling on this.
is may be a sign you dont get blood to the fingernails.

What temp is the shower set to?

thats all i got
is it because you're spending too much time in the shower, or you're feet/hands are too cold or too hot?
