the upper part of my nail came detached from my finger. It didn't come all the way off, but blood is collecting under the nail and it hurts pretty bad. Should I put a band aid around my finger or just leave it. I don't want it to get loose or infected.Ouch.. I just pulled part of my nail away from the nail bed..Anything I should do?
put ice so it wont hurt.. then go to Dermatology doctor..he will pull of the whole nail ( drug you first).. then your nail will grow naturally

Put ice on it to control swelling and pain. Put antibiotic ointment on it with a band-aide that is not too tight.
