Will a toenail reattach to nail bed?

I recently dropped a shelf on my big toe and cut it just a cuticle line , some is still attched on one side. will it fall off? the part thats not attched? should it come off to allow it to breath? what helps it fall off fast? I keep it bandaged up with neosporin. Should I soak it in epsonsalt? Will a toenail reattach to nail bed?
One time my brother left his hockey stick on the stairs and I didn't see it and tripped over it and nearly ripped off my toenail. I went to the doctor, who drilled a hole through the top of it to relieve the pressure and to drain out some of the fluid in my toe. I kept the toe bandaged so nothing else could tug at the nail and rip it completely off, and after awhile it turned black and fell off on its own. A new toenail had begun to grow under the old nail at this point, and that's what pushed the old nail off. It took about 6 or 7 months for the new nail to grow fully in, and I kept it bandaged for the first couple months while the skin was still sensitive. Looking at it now you can't tell what happened; it grew back in healthy and normal. Will a toenail reattach to nail bed?
It won't reattach. It will turn black and fall off - this is a good thing as it makes room for a new healthy nail to grow back. A new toenail can take up to a full year to grow back.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Sure all of the above will be helpful. Dang that hurts.
it will come off.

let it breath and yes soak it in epsonsalt
