What does white arch on nail bed mean?

Lack of calciumWhat does white arch on nail bed mean?
Most people are under the assumption that this is a calcium deficiency, however, this is normally incorrect. The whit arch normally comes from your nail running into or hitting something. You may not remember it, but that's alright. It is your nail's natural way of healing itself. It is similar to a bruise, like you would get on your skin. Once your nail grows out, the white arch should go away. What does white arch on nail bed mean?
It is to do with a lack of ZINC not calcium.

Get some multi-vitamins to top up.

(also yes hittting something will do this...)
drink more milk, calcium deficiency
