Man between two beds of nails?

Hi, so i have this question for science but im totally unsure how to do it....here's the picture. Help? (:

What is the force that holds the man against the nails?

Do you think he will get injured? Why?

Which bed of nails should have higher density of nails, the one at the top or the one at the bottom? Explain.

THANKS!Man between two beds of nails?
The picture shows only bottom side having nails. On the top, a board is carrying a concrete block, which will be broken by hitting the hammer.

That means the person is already lying on the bed of nails, will get a sudden blow from top, pushing him towards nails below.

It is not clear why you are asking about density of nails.

The resistance against pricking of nails, develops slowly with continuous practice. i have purchased a plastic board, with sharp points rising from it, on which it was difficult to stand bare footed, in the beginning, but it becomes easier with practice.Man between two beds of nails?
it's perfectly safe to lay on a bed of nails. a bed with much fewer nail points may peirce the skin, but with so many points, the pressure supported by each point is very little and will not peirce the skin
