Have you ever laid on a bed of nails?

I got to do that last week at the Children's Science Museum. Impressed the heck out of my kids-- and reinforced their view that I am just a little bit crazy...Have you ever laid on a bed of nails?

I worked in the movie business. I had a friend who was a producer. He called to hire me for this show he was doing. I accepted, it was supposed to be for a week and I was to be doing special effects.


When I got there I went and found him, he took me to the set and got me started on my first project for that day.


I had to make a bed of nails........Bloody hell, i was just 18, I had no idea. Finished before lunch and then had to try it out. It was the strangest. In my travels around the differents sets they had, something didn't seem quite right.


It wasn't!!!!


My friend was the producer for porno films!!!!


OMG~ needless to say that was my last day........Have you ever laid on a bed of nails?

they're still fresh enough to get ';wow'd'; by seeing teh results of brilliant people from the past





I ';think'; I did something like that once, but can't remember teh details ... have you ever taken a pin and laid it in your elbow and floded up your arm? ... it doesn't pierce the skin and that's neat too, tho on a much smaller scale

I haven`t done the bed of nails, but I slept on the ground in a snowstorm, when I fought in Korea.

My hubby and I use to go to a Science Centre in Sudbury and they had all kinds of things to try. One was a bed of nails. It was quite interesting. Because your body weight is evenly distributed you don't feel anything. It was fun. I bet your kids had a good laugh. Isn't it fun to be a bit crazy??
No. I have always wanted to try that though. Looks cool. But did you know when the desert sand gets in your sleeping bag, it feels like your sleeping on a bed of nails?

yes i always do a a little rest on the bed of nails then a straightening on the rack and then rest up some more in the iron maiden
