I currently have Acrylic nails. I have jammed my finger and now my nail along with the acrylic is lifting up from my nail bed. I have been putting super glue under my nail to keep it in place. It does not hurt as long as I鈥檓 not hitting it again, but some how I always do. I have gotten a fill in since I did it, it didn鈥檛 hurt but then I jammed it again.
Will the nail grow back to the nail bed?
What is a good way to keep my finger protected? (pinky nail)
Any tips?Tips for acrylic nails and real nails lifting from the nail bed?
This is a very common problem with acrylic nails. This has happened to me quite a few times. Well for now just put a band-aid over it to protect yourself from getting hurt. When this happened to me I soaked my nail in nail polish remover until all the acrylic came out. It is better to let that nail grow before getting any more acrylic nails on it. But my BEST recommendation would be to stop with the acrylic nails and try fixing your own nails because acrylic nails do damage your real nails. I know you probably think that you can't grow your real nails because that is what i thought but if you keep them filed and painted it will be harder for them to break (i know this from experience). I hope this helps.
