I have aninjured toenail ripped from nail bed should try to cut it or leave it alone?

The same thing happened to me once. Just leave it alone as the nail protects your nail bed still, the nail will eventually fall off and a new toenail will grow in. However, try to keep it clean so you won't get an infection. Also use a Band-Aid on it, as this will prevent it from being ripped off completely. When the nail falls off, it will probably feel better if you wear shoes that are somewhat soft in the front. It will still be important to keep it clean and with a Band-Aid on at all times. After some months a new nail should have replaced the old one.

I've heard you should keep an eye on the new nail so it doesn't grow inwards, but this was never a problem for me, although I would keep an eye on it no matter what.I have aninjured toenail ripped from nail bed should try to cut it or leave it alone?
Put a Band-Aid around it and leave it alone. Change the band-aid daily after your shower.

Ouch! I bet that hurt!!
