Does constant pedicures weaken the nail bed and yellow your nails?

I have monthly pedicures. My salon is very good, and I can go 3-4 weeks before my next pedicure. The last time I went to the salon, however, after they removed my nail polish, I noticed that my nailbed looked a little drab and yellowed. There was also those white streaks on my nailbed. I was wondering if I should give my toenails a break and let them grow naturally for a while before I get another pedicure? Is it unhealthy for my nails because the natural nailbed isn't exposed? Anyone have the same issues? I never used to be a pedicure fiend, but I love the way my toes look pedicured.Does constant pedicures weaken the nail bed and yellow your nails?
I get pedicures every two weeks and usually wear red polish on my toes. To avoid the yellow, I bring my own nail polish, base, and top coat to the nail salon when I get my pedicure. OPI seems to be the best because it doesn't contain formaldehyde and doesn't turn the nail yellow. Since I have been using OPI polish, base, and top coat, my nails are never yellow. Ya Give em a break for a bit. the yellowing is cuz of the polish they just need some time to breath.
